When we experience illness, our knee jerk reaction is to try to have it go away as quickly as possible. Illness can have a positive purpose and be a knock from the Universe on our door to expand more than where we have been. When we accept our experience, we start to let in healing light and love. Use this healing meditation to let in the love that goes with healing.
It serves us better to accept what happens in life’s experience and use that to accept ourselves and expand more.
You instinctively know that having positive thoughts and feelings allow you to direct yourself to having positive life experiences. Yet there is a paradox with that as well. We are here to expand and grow to being more than we were before. Our Highest Self may intervene to support our growth with allowing us to develop an illness. Illness, regardless of how it is created, is a catalyst for growth and change. Resistance to accepting what is in the moment can cause suffering and pain.
You deserve healing with any illness. Anytime an illness occurs, healing love is always available from your Highest Self. Your highest and best good may not be to receive a cure, but healing for sure. Healing means to expand so that the illness does not deliver pain or sufferance.
Additionally, we have beliefs in our subconscious mind that can get in the way of expanding ourselves with uncomfortable emotions that accompany illness. We sometimes resist what is, because we are not comfortable with our feelings. Before we can expand, we need to accept ourselves where we are in each moment. To do that, we are better served when we relax into our feelings rather than push them away. In order to expand during these times, we need affirmations that are believable to us.
One way to give ourselves expanding messages is to use positive affirmations that describe us moving to a better than before place. For example, we can say in any situation, even though I am experiencing …, I still completely and fully… more every day. These kind of affirmations are a wonderful way to let in healing light.
