Accepting feelings is not the usual place most people go to.

Put on your best ear listening devices and watch this accepting feelings video meditation to help you accept your feelings.  The meditation contains theta music and binaural beats to support you.  Read below then watch this 7 1/2 minute video meditation to accept your feelings.  It has the guide words written in English on top for those who English is not their primary language.

We seem to have a natural resistance to accepting our feelings.  Even if they are positive, we push them aside for fear that if we feel them too long something bad may whisk away those positive feelings. If they are negative, we try to push them away as quickly as we can for fear that we will create negativity with our vibrations.

Many in the metaphysical community teach that it is important to practice positive vibrations to have a happier life.  While that is true, most of us push away feelings and try to control our thoughts, hoping this will deliver us happiness and joy.  We believe that this will ensure us positive vibrations.

So what do I do?

What is missing from having positive vibrations is the first step of accepting your feelings. What is also important is to not judge your feelings or yourself for whatever feelings arise.  Judgment of feelings is part of the ego mind and not your higher conscious mind.

Your higher conscious mind puts no judgment on feelings.  They see feelings as a tool to expand and grow.  Be they positive or negative, they are meant to serve your growth plain and simple.

What happens to most of us is that rather than feel our feelings, we identify with them. We become our feelings.  Rather than feel angry, we are angry.  Rather than feel sad, we are sad.  Notice the language we use.  See how we identify mostly with negative feelings.

Do you feel love or are you love?  Do you feel happy or are you happy.  That one is much easier.  Consider these ones, do you feel joy or gratitude or are you joy or gratitude?  See how our language shows us how we identify with our feelings.  We don’t identify with positive feelings as much as we do with negative ones.

So how do we stop identifying with our feelings and use them to expand and grow?

The easiest way to stop identifying with your feelings is to first accept your feelings and let go of resisting feeling them.  It is also important to let go of resisting the opposite feeling that comes with the feeling you have.  For instance when you resist feeling anger, you also resist feeling compassion and love.

There is an elegant way to accept your feelings and not identify with them.  That way is to become the observer of your feelings.  It can be most helpful to observe where they reside in your body. Then you are naturally observing your feelings.

Once you are an observer, you are connected with your higher mind and can choose to let go of resisting the feelings.  Then you can choose to let go of the opposite feelings as well.  Now let the feelings run their course.  They will naturally pass through you with the right amount of time.

If they seem to linger, it is only because you may have stuffed that feeling in your unconscious mind over time. As you stay in observation of your feelings, just keep choosing to let go of resisting feeling them and their countering emotions.  Soon they will pass with the right timing. Your higher mind will manage that.

How do I feel peace within?

Accepting your feelings become your path to self acceptance.  As you move to accepting your feelings and let go of resisting them, you naturally heal that part of you that quickly identifies with your feelings.  The more you accept and heal identifying with your feelings, the more identification with feelings becomes healed in your world.

Accepting feelings is the easiest way I know to bring you to inner peace, and bringing more peace into our world.  As you practice this meditation, you will see within a month how much you have changed to natural higher vibrations.

Take in a Deep Breath

Hold It

Release It

 

Take in Another Deep Breath

Release That Breath

Bring Your Breathing to a Normal Pace

 

Begin Relaxing Your Body Starting with Your Feet

Slowly Move that Relaxation Upward

Into Your Thighs

Now Your Whole Center

Fill Your Hands and Arms with Relaxation

Feel Your Shoulders and Neck Relax

Now Release All the Tension from Your Head and Face

You Are Now Completely Relaxed
